Dr Hotu started up Green Doctors Clinic in 2018 and has 17 years experience in both Internal Medicine and General Practice, managing chronic pain and palliative patients.

In 2019 Dr Hotu spent some time in Montreal attending an intensive medicinal cannabis training program and spent a small amount of time at a specialist clinic coming away with a wealth of knowledge from experienced doctors that have been prescribing cannabis for 20 years.

Dr Hotu currently works at the Green Doctors clinic in Ponsonby, he also sits on a Clinical Advisory Board with Eqalis Pharmaceuticals helping to write prescribing guidelines for GPs.
