Safe Event

MedCan Summit 2022 is a safe event

MedCan Summit is committed to the safety of all attendees.

Due to New Zealand being in the red level of the Covid Protection Framework, MedCan 2022 will be run as an online virtual event.

Vaccinations required

As part of the Covid Protection Framework, everyone who attends MedCan 2022 in person will be required to be fully vaccinated. Attendees will be required to present their Vaccine Pass as proof of vaccination.

If you aren’t vaccinated we look forward to welcoming you online to attend the event virtually.

The Cordis Hotel, the venue for MedCan 2022, requires all of its staff and guests to be fully vaccinated.

Changes to Summit format

If Auckland is in Orange or Green levels of the Covid Protection Framework, the Summit will take place in person at the Cordis Hotel, with no physical distancing restrictions.

If Auckland is in the Red level at the time of MedCan 2022, the Summit will take place as a virtual event online. Delegates who have paid for an in-person ticket will either receive a refund for the difference between the in-person and online only ticket price, or will be able to add a Plus One to their ticket to allow a colleague or peer to attend.

MedCan has virtual event technology to ensure delegates still have a great event experience should they be unable to attend in person.

Other health precautions

If you’re at all unwell, please refrain from attending the in-person event. The Summit is available via live stream and on-demand for 30 days.

Please practice good hygiene throughout your time at the event. Observe coughing and sneezing etiquette. Sanitiser stations are positioned at the entrance of all conference rooms, at catering areas and at the stage entrance.
