Puro is New Zealand’s largest cultivator of premium medical cannabis and is at the forefront of New Zealand’s emerging cannabis industry.
Puro has two growing sites in Marlborough. It’s outdoor growing site at Kēkerengū is the largest in New Zealand and is home to Puro’s purpose-built cannabis drying and processing facility. Puro’s 2021 harvest from this site was the largest outdoor cannabis harvest in New Zealand or Australia.
At Waihopai, near Blenheim, Puro has constructed New Zealand’s largest cannabis genetic research and breeding facility, which is spearheaded by Puro’s global experts, Tom Forrest and Anna Campbell, and supported by AbacusBio. Puro has resource consent to build a further 18,500m2 indoor glasshouse facility at this site.
Puro is driven to grow its premium cannabis organically and sustainably. It is the only organically accredited grower in Australasia (with BioGro in Conversion status) and one of only a few globally. Puro is poised to be one of the largest organic producers in the world, growing under the pure New Zealand sun.
